Investor’s API service enables customers a capability to deliver real-time or delay stock quotes, and news into their own browser based or window based applications. The data will be delivered directly from our high performance Direct Data Center DDC via internet to unlimited number of clients’ trading applications. The API Services are available in many programming languages. With API Service you will gain ability to offer financial information and news at speed to wider audiences, with lower cost and without scarifying the quality and performance.
Internet vs. Satellite
Up to 50-500 ms latency over internet feeds!
Satellite market broadcast feeds and internet feeds are the two common types of real-time market data services. At Investor’s Forum our delivery API technology is based on internet feed. However, our platform does not limit our customer from integrating third-party satellite broadcasting service. The minimum delay for receiving data via satellite is 50-500 ms versus internet feeds. Additional hardware and support such as satellite dish and receiver only increase your cost of operation. Satellite suffers from harsh weather environment such as heavy rains and winds. In contrast with internet feeds, receiving data is truly portable, no additional equipment, thus lower cost and yet faster. With availability of high speed internet, there is no longer limitation of number of symbols to watch. To watch the entire symbols from Stock Exchange of Thailand it would require less than 64kb of bandwidth.
