Time & Sales Object

Time & Sales overview

In the Time & Sales object you can observe Level I real-time trade. Level I trade is the actual trade taking place for a specific security. The Time & Sales object supports data for different kind of symbols (stcks, indices, futures and so on). You can display either real-time or historical and further real-time data. If you choose the historical data, which is useful for examining the history of a security, you can display all ticks recorded for a specific day or data for a specific day and time period and will receive all further ticks, as well. The Time & Sales object can also help you gauge the support and resistance of the certain price points in addition to the volume behind each trade. For these reasons, this object is often used in conjunction with the Market Depth object. For each type of the market event, the Time & Sales object provides detailed information in a tabular format. The most current market activity is shown in the bottom row. The prices are shown in the blinking manner in the same way with Quotes object.

To reach the bottom of the Time & Sales object and see all further real-time ticks. In this case all upper records will be shifted up automatically. To switch this feature on, click on button at the bottom left corner of the Time & Sales object. You will reach the bottom of the object immediately.

Blinking system in Time & Sales object is the same as in Quotes object. The only difference is field lists, see quotes object formatting.
