| Indicator Objects An indicator is a mathematical calculation that can be applied to a chart plot or to another indicator. The result is a value that is used for predicting changes in prices. Indicators help in anticipating a market direction and help traders in making decisions related to entering, exiting, and/or staying in or out of the market. When applied to charts, indicators graphically represent mathematical formulas used to analyze market conditions, such as trends, trend reversals, and volatility, by analyzing your data on a bar-by-bar basis, and so on. Program Investor provides a lot of indicators (you can see them all in the list). You can apply these indicators to your charts, or you can change them to suit your own trading preferences and needs.
